AU Reassignment Recommendation Page

Economic Assistance case managers must ensure that any parent under 20 is reassigned to a Self-Sufficiency Specialist as soon as possible, if not able to have their application completed with a SSS.

Parents up to 24 in their caseload must also be identified and recommended for reassignment to SSS. The role of the SSS supports both eligibility and engagement activities that are specific to the young parent population.

In conjunction with the AUs for Possible SSS Assignment view, this page is used to decide if grantees should be assigned to Self-Sufficiency Specialists (SSS).

TAO directors and/or designees must review the AUs for Possible SSS Assignment view daily. If there are grantees listed on the view, they must take the following steps:

  1. click the check box next to the name of the grantee
  2. select the ECF folder icon above the grantee name. This will take you to the client’s Electronic Case Folder
  3. examine the case record to determine if the grantee meets the criteria for assignment to a SSS
  4. go to the AU Reassignment Recommendation page in the Program Administration workflow
  5. if the client meets the criteria for assignment, select the check box next to client’s name, then select the Yes radio button in the Recommend field
  6. if the client does not meet the criteria for assignment, select the check box next to client’s name, then select the No radio button in the Recommend field, and
  7. click Next or Finish to save your selection. If you have recommended an assignment to a SSS, make sure they are notified

A grantee reassigned to a Self-Sufficiency Specialist will appear in all Assistance Unit List Views and the AUs Reassigned View in Appointments to Schedule for the SSS

The AU Reassignment Recommendation Page will be available to all other staff on a view-only basis.
