Interview Wrapup Request Tab

You will use the Request tab to view all in progress requests. To see the contents of a particular request you will use the Selection button to select the request containing pending case/client and/or verified data. More than one in-progress request can exist at any time and each can be in a different stage of authorization.

You will use the radio buttons on the right side of the page:

  • Save – to save a request
  • Clear - to clear the information on the page
  • Delete- to delete a request
  • Selection – to enter the Selection page to select the data to be used in the calculation of benefits

Note: Only those requests not in a completed status will be available for selection. 

  • EBC Results - to enter the EBC Results page to calculate the benefit
  • Authorization - to enter the Authorization page to authorize the request
  • P. I Checklist –only available to authorized users

Once you select or create a request the following information will populate the Request tab;

  • Requestor - Your name will appear when you select the request. If BEACON created the request Batch will be displayed.
  • Created - The date the requested action was initially entered.
  • Location – TAO where the request was originated.
  • Status - status of the request as follows;
    • Pending EBC Results indicates a request has been created and an eligibility and benefit calculation (EBC) needs to be completed.
    • Pending Authorization indicates a request has been created and requires authorization.
    • Pending Release indicates that a request has been completed, authorized and will issue on the release date
    • Canceled indicates that a request existed but has since been deleted. A request can be deleted at any time before the request releases, or
    • ejected Authorization indicates a request has been created but rejected at authorization.
  • Release - The date the request will be released.
  • EBC Affected - indicates that there is eligibility influencing data included in the request. If there is at least one data element selected within the request that influences eligibility the field value will default to Yes. Otherwise the field will display No.
  • Authorize By - the date entered by you to indicate when the authorization must occur.
  • Type - Interview Wrapup Request type (read only). This type is automatically set based upon the Interview Wrapup Request Type Priority List. If a request contains multiple changes only the highest priority request type will be displayed.
  • Appealed - a checkmark will indicate whether the result is under appeal.
  • Appeal date - the date of the appeal, if applicable.
  • Outcome - the appeal decision, if applicable.
    • Outcome date - the date the appeal decision was made, if applicable.
