BEACON Update Tab Edits

  1. A hard edit on the Reevaluation End (date) field ensures that the cash and/or SNAP reevaluation dates cannot be extended without a reevaluation being completed.
    1. Note: The only exception to this hard edit rule is the Special 30 day Expedited NPA SNAP cases. Only TAO managers will have the ability to override the hard edit for extraordinary circumstances.

  2. A hard edit notifies you when a reinstated SNAP case requires the submission of an Interim Reporting reevaluation.
  3. A hard edit was added to the page so that, in addition to checking for Dual Participation among clients within the household, the same check will be performed for all clients within BEACON. The edit will evaluate all clients within an EBC result for any program determined active and any SNAP Program determined pending i.e. approved expedited SNAP.

The result cannot be saved if any member within the EBC results is also a member of a second program and both programs are cash and/or SNAP. The second program could be the one determined active within the same request, or could be associated with any household in the system. (See Dual Participation Processing).
