Pathways to Work Views

The Pathways to Work Views consists of the following:


Clients in Pathways Planning Period

This view lists clients who are currently in their 60-day Pathways to Work Planning Period with the ESP program assigned to that BEACON user. This view should be used to support the completion of Planning Period touchpoints. For Full Engagement Workers this must be used in conjunction with Engagement Actions to engage client’s effectively during this 60 day period.

A client will no longer appear on this view after their Pathways Period ends.


Scheduled TAFDC Orientations Appointments

This view lists all TAFDC clients within the TAO that are scheduled or have been rescheduled for a TAFDC Group Orientation session. The TAO Full Engagement Worker (FEW) is responsible for tracking attendance at every Group Orientation session. After a session is completed, they must disposition whether clients on the Scheduled TAFDC Group Orientation Appointments view attended the session.

Note: The use of the TAFDC Orientation appointment notice remains suspended at this time. FEWs and SSSs must continue to follow procedures for scheduling virtual and telephonic Orientation appointments.


Clients with Pending Pathways Activity Referrals

This view lists all clients who have a pending Pathways Activity Referral with the ESP program assigned to that BEACON user. This view should be used to ensure that clients are connected to and enrolled in Pathways to Work activities they are referred to efficiently and that follow-up is completed if necessary.

The client will no longer appear on this view if the activity becomes active or if the referral is ended.


Clients with an Active Pathways Plan

This view lists all clients who have an Active Pathways to Work Plan with the ESP program assigned to that BEACON user. It provides the Plan and End date, whether they are participating in multiple activities, what their activity type and program is. This view must be used to support ongoing goal planning and keep client’s enrolled with a Pathways to Work Plan, especially those subject to work or school rules.


Monthly Participation

This view lists all clients with their ESP program assigned to that BEACON user who have a monthly engagement or participation record to be entered for the prior month. It will show their Pathways activity, the program, if there is a scanned document available and if they are subject to work rules. This view must be used to FEWs and SSSs to confirm client participation in Pathways activities each month.


Clients with Employment

This view lists all the active clients who have an active Employment record with the TAFDC program assigned to that BEACON user.  It will show the employment start date, average weekly hours and how many TAFDC payments they have used towards the 100% Earned Income Disregard. It will also show if they are subject to work rules, if they have an active Pathways to Work Plan and if yes, the Plan end date. This view should be used to prompt conversations about the impact of work, transitional benefits, and additional supports.


Child Care Authorizations

This view lists all TAFDC clients with active child care referrals completed for the BEACON users assigned TAO. This view may be used to prompt outreach around reauthorization for clients who have been provided a DTA child care referral.


Clients with Compliance Reasons

This view lists all clients who are temporarily excused from the work or school rules through a meets compliance that have their ESP program assigned to that BEACON user. It also indicates whether they have an activity referral pending or active Plan. This view must be used to promote proactive outreach to engage clients as much as possible and to determine if an expiring reason will need to be extended.


Clients Becoming Subject to Work Rules

This view lists all clients who are expected to become subject to work rules within the next 30 days that have their ESP program assigned to that BEACON user. It provides their current exemption reason and if they have received a Work Rules Change Notice. This view must be used by economic assistance case managers to complete proactive outreach around Pathways to Work engagement and connecting a client to their FEW.


Clients With Pending Work/School Rule Sanctions

This view lists clients that have the their ESP program assigned to that BEACON user and have a pending system-initiated sanction for work or school rules. This view must be used by FEWs and SSSs to initiate reengagement efforts and determine if a sanction may be removed or must be authorized.
