Missed ESP Assessment Interviews TAFDC

When you schedule Employment Services Program (ESP) assessment and reassessment appointments on the Schedule Appointment page, they are tracked for the ESP Work Program sanction process.

If a client does not keep the appointment or the appointment is not rescheduled before or on the day of the appointment, an overnight batch job changes the appointment status on the Schedule Appointment page to Missed and the client’s name is displayed in the Views menu selection on the Home page, under Daily Priority Actions in Missed ESP Interviews.

The Missed ESP Interviews lists your active TAFDC clients who are Work Program required who have missed a scheduled ESP assessment or reassessment interview. The missed interview results in a Work Program sanction.

The interview is considered missed when the Electronic Case Folder (ECF) for the client is not accessed (no updates or case actions are required) on the day of the appointment, or the appointment is not cancelled or rescheduled on or before the appointment.

Important: Do not schedule exempt clients who volunteer to participate in ESP activities with the assessment or reassessment appointment letter generated from the Schedule Appointment page because the TAFDC case will be closed inappropriately if the client misses the appointment
