Pathways to Work Workflow - Overview
The Pathways to Work workflow is designed for staff to use as they work with clients to set goals, complete engagement activities, connect them to programs and support their progress. Full Engagement Workers and Self Sufficiency Specialists will access this workflow as a main function of their role, but it may be used by any economic assistance staff to complete Pathways to Work activities as needed.
This workflow is available for staff to:
- complete an Accommodation/Special Assistance request and enter ADA accommodations
- make updates to the Work Requirements pages
- review the Pathways to Work Engagement page, including data received from the Department of Career Services for MassHire JobQuest
- view a client’s Pathways to Work Planning Period, if subject to work rules
- record Pathways to Work Planning Activities, including documenting a client’s goals
- issue referrals to approved Pathways to Work education, training and employment programs
- complete a Pathways to Work Plan for any client participating in an activity, including employment
- update the Domestic Violence page, when necessary
- complete a Learning Disability Assessment, when requested
- complete an Interview Wrapup when changes have been made to a Work Requirements or Program Administration page.
