TAFDC, EAEDC and SNAP: Pregnancy Information Update

You enter the pregnancy status and due date for a household member in TAFDC, EAEDC and SNAP cases on the Pregnancy page in the AU Composition Details workflow. If 30 days after the pregnancy due date on the Pregnancy page, no change has been entered on the pregnancy status, the household member will automatically be sent a Pregnancy Information Update notice. The notice is available in English and Spanish.

For cash cases, the Pregnancy Information Update notice instructs the household member to contact the case manager identified on the notice within 10 days (of the notice date) to report the change in the household’s circumstances relative to the pregnancy status.

Note: For SNAP-only cases, the Pregnancy Information Update notice instructs the household member to contact the DTA Assistance Line at 1-877-382-2363 within 10 days (of the notice date) to report the change. A SNAP case manager will assist the household member with updating the pregnancy status. See SNAP: First Available Worker Model.
