Living Arrangement - EAEDC
The living arrangement of EAEDC applicants or clients shall be one of the following:
Living Arrangement A
describes an EAEDC individual or EAEDC family who is responsible for a shelter cost, such as rent, mortgage, real estate taxes, insurance, fuel or utility expenses or room or board expenses from a licensed lodging house, and who:
- Lives alone; or
- Lives with others (except as described in Living Arrangement B or H.)
Living Arrangement B
describes an EAEDC individual or EAEDC family who lives with another person or family applying for or receiving TAFDC, including spouses, and there is a legal obligation to support a member(s) of the TAFDC case and a member(s) of the EAEDC case, except as described in letter (b) of Living Arrangement H.
Living Arrangement C
describes an EAEDC individual who lives in a halfway house, licensed chronic hospital, licensed nursing home, approved public medical institution, licensed intermediate care facility, residential treatment center or public psychiatric institution.
Living Arrangement D
- An individual or family who is homeless or who pays no shelter costs; or
- An individual or family in a temporary emergency shelter.
Living Arrangement E
describes an EAEDC individual who lives in a licensed rest home, also known as a residential care facility.
Living Arrangement F
describes an EAEDC individual who lives in a therapeutic community center.
Living Arrangement H
describes the EAEDC individual or EAEDC family, who is responsible for a shelter cost and is in one of the following circumstances:
- Lives with a spouse who is applying for or receiving EAEDC; or
- Lives with a spouse and a child(ren) who is not the natural or adoptive child(ren) of the spouse and the spouse is applying for or receiving TAFDC for himself or herself only or for himself or herself and the child(ren).
