Email (RFA)
After you complete the Request for Assistance page, you will be brought to the Email page. Email addresses are optional; clients are not required to provide an email address and staff must not communicate with clients via email. Email addresses are collected for possible communication use in the future.
The Department is evaluating additional ways to reach clients, including through SMS text messaging, electronic alerts, and push notifications.
Clients may continue to provide contact information in support of these communication methods but these features are not in production at this time. As such, the DTA Alerts form is being suspended. Staff must not offer clients this form.
The option to provide an email address and enroll in eNotification will remain available in DTA Connect via the mobile app and web portal. That data will continue to be collected in support of future considerations to authorize this method of communication, but there will be no action taken by BEACON to send electronic notifications or cease the printing of notices when that data is input at this time.
