Heightened Level of Security - No Domestic Violence
The heightened level of security indicator can be used for cases not involving domestic violence.
For cases not involving domestic violence, when the client chooses to use the heightened level of security option, you must activate the heightened level of security indicator immediately. You and the client must sign the Request for Heightened Level of Security form in English or Spanish indicating that the client chooses the heightened level of security indicator option.
To activate the heightened level of security indicator, you must:
- access the Program Administration workflow in the Case Maintenance workflow
- select the Domestic Violence page. The Domestic violence situation radio button will default to No
-
Note: Click the Domestic violence situation Yes radio button even though domestic violence is not involved. The Heightened level of security field cannot be checked if the Domestic violence situation radio button is set to No
-
- check the Heightened Level of Security checkbox. This will change the client’s name, birth date and SSN to red type on all Electronic Case Folder (ECF) pages. A Domestic Violence/Heightened Level of Security alert icon (exclamation point in a yellow triangle) will display at the bottom of the Domestic Violence page as well
- go to the Interview Wrapup workflow and perform the wrap-up process and
- annotate the Narrative tab indicating the client’s source of concern for confidentiality if known and that domestic violence is not involved.
